Governed by the National Education Testing and Research Center of the Department of Education, third year students tackle the National Tests given nationwide to all students in the Philippines for two consecutive years.  Last March 2011, these third students took the National Achievement Test (NAT) during the Second Year and 6 months later the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE).  Armed with the unwavering desire to excel in the said test, students took the NCAE with gusto.  Three room examiners from Santolan High School administered the test to 76 third year students at exactly 8:00 in the morning of September 30, 2011.  The 5 subject area coordinators, Mr. Marcelino Malabanan, Mrs. Josefina Lausingco, Ms. Maria Lucia Cruz, Ms. Helen Aquino and Ms. Gina Bagtas acted as room supervisors.  Ms. Ruiz of the Dee Wha Liong Academy was appointed as School’s Testing Coordinator supervised by the Chief Examiner, Dr. Leo B. Galve – School Principal.  The distribution of the test paraphernalia was last September 27, 2011, the onset of typhoon Pedring.  Unfortunately, no answer sheets, CETRE and ETRE’s were assigned for the school prompting the Division Testing Coordinator to request from the NETRC Office.  Upon resumption of classes last September 29, 2011, the answer sheets were provided.  However, the school header and the sticker were not included in the package.  Through the recommendation of the Division Testing Supervisor, Ms. Myrna Hipolito, a sticker was provided courtesy of Santolan High School.  The school header was accomplished in the Division Office after the test during the retrieval of test materials.
