The LIFE IN THE SPIRIT Seminar-retreat of faculty and staff of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School was held last August 19-20,2011 at the Mabanta Farm, Pililia Rizal. It is composed of a series of talks designed to lead STVPS faculty and staff through the basic message of salvation and help them yield to the action of the Holy Spirit in their lives so they can begin to sense His presence and experience Him working in and through them; and thereby establish or re-establish, or deepen a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.
The seminar was presented overnight. It is simple, informal and introductory in format, balanced with teaching, personal testimony, Scripture and prayer. Small group discussion period provides an important opportunity for teachers to discuss their progress.
The seminar consists of the following talks conducted by Brothers Odick, Rolan, Celton and Rick of Hand of the Sower Catholic Charismatic Community during a weekend retreat at Mabanta Farm, Pililia Rizal which is owned and managed by a humble couple, Brother Peping and Sis. Belle, close associates and former active parishioners of Fr. Ramil R. Marcos from Capitolio Pasig City.

GOD's Love :
Helps participants understand that God loves them more than anything.  Psalm 139 tells us that God created us lovingly in our mother’s womb.  John 3:16 tells us that God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son...

Salvation:
Explains the basics and momentousness of the Christian message.  Participants were given the opportunity to deepen their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus.

The New Life:
Let us know that a new life is available through a fuller perception of the Holy Spirit.  Who is the Holy Spirit, and how can He enrich our lives?

Receiving God's Gifts:
Prepares us to ask in faith for the full life of the Spirit.  We were shown how to empty our “vessels” so that the Holy Spirit can fill us up with gifts from heaven.

Growth:
Life in the SPIRIT is not just a one-time experience but the beginning of much more to come.  This seminar shows how to grow in the life of the Spirit.  Teachers learned the “tricks of the trade” and how to actively pursue a new life in Christ Jesus.

Transformation in Christ :
It helps us avoid discouragement while "Slugging it out" with everyday problems.  Like a butterfly emerges from a cocoon, so shall we transform into beautiful children of a living God.

After attending a  Life In The Spirit Seminar  many have experienced GOD in or more of the following ways;
The LORD’s peace and joy reigning in ways not previously experienced.
Scripture becomes alive, with words seemingly jumping out while reading or studying them
A strong desire for more and deeper prayer
