postheadericon Nutrition Month/TLE-Computer Week 2016, an achievement!

July is the month of nutrition; the month when we celebrate and value the importance of proper nutrition, not only for young ones, but also for adults.
For this year’s celebration of Nutrition Month, it was themed by the National Nutrition Council, “First 1000 Days ni Baby, Pahalagahan para sa Malusog na Kinabukasan.”
The Departments of Computer and TLE joined forces in celebrating this event. They had a poster making contest from the high school department; a dance contest from Grades 4 to 6 with its theme related to the given theme of the National Nutrition Council; a cooking festival from Grade 10 students, where they highlighted the native delicacies of the provinces of Bacolod, Cebu, Bicol, and Ilo-ilo; a trade fair from Grades 7 to 9, where students from Grade 7 sold their home- made sweets, Grades 8 had their bazaar, and Grade 9 had their nail art polishing, face painting, and hair styling. From the Computer world, they had their computer games contest such as typing test, basketball app, stack app, and photography. Students from Grades 4 to 10 enjoyed the week’s celebration.
Their culminating activity was held last July 29, 2016 in two parts. The first part was the cooking festival of Grade 10 held at the Audio Visual Room. They were judged accordingly by the panel of judges: a guest-judge, HRM graduate, employed at cruise ship, Mr. Daryll Joe Cruz; TLE teacher, Mr. Ron John Villaseñor; Math Coordinator/Asst. to the Principal, Ms. Maria Lucia Cruz; School Principal, Sr. Rosalie P. Regencia, OP; and School Director, Dr. Leo B. Galve.
