postheadericon STVPS Attends PaDSS Mass of the Holy Spirit 2016

    The Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School attended the PaDSS Mass of the Holy Spirit held at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral last June 28, 2016 celebrated by Most Reverend Mylo Hubert C. Vergara, Bishop of Pasig and concelebrated by six clergy of the Diocese.  The school sent thirty students from Grades 6 and 10.  Dr. Leo B. Galve, Sr. Rosalie P. Regencia, OP, Ms. Gina Bagtas, and Mr. Christian B. Santos accompanied the delegates.  In his homily, His Excellency Mylo Hubert C. Vergara posted several questions on the Family, Mercy and Eucharist as focal points for reflections.  
    After the celebration, Rev. Fr. Orlindo F. Ordoña, PaDSS Superintendent invited the participants from 11 PaDSS member schools to join the Media Ministry Awards.  It was followed by the awarding of retired PaDSS administrators.  Dr. Rufina Eleanor DC. Aguila, retired principal and Ms. Eufrocina E. Dela Cruz, CIE Coordinator from Sta. Rosa Catholic School, Ms. Amor Cruz, Finance Officer of Colegio de Santa Ana, Dr. Luciano Bagadiong, Head of K to 12 Commission and Dr. Arlene Supnet, Administrator of Pasig Catholic College were awarded Plaque of Appreciation for their invaluable services to their respective schools and to PaDSS.  Dr. Leo B. Galve acted as the Master of Ceremony for the awarding.
    A simple merienda was served to the administrators of PaDSS Schools, Catechists of the Diocese, Principals and Administrators of public schools in Pasig, Taguig and Pateros, and Religious Sisters from Congregational Schools.
