Dr. Leo Galve

“PCCians, your offering of canned goods last September 8, 2014 were packed and given to all evacuees of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School in Santolan and St. Michael Parish in Hagonoy, Taguig last September 19 height of habagat ni Mario. God loves cheerful giver! Always give and you will receive abundantly!”
Facebook feed of Mr. Erickson Javier

September 19, 2014 was set for the opening salvo of the 48th Foundation Anniversary of the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School through a simple procession of 25 patron saints of sections from preschool to fourth year high school along Evangelista Avenue, Santolan, Pasig City.  However, due to incessant rain, the local government of Pasig suspended classes in preschool to high school, likewise, classes and scheduled activities of the school were also suspended.  As the water level of Marikina rose to 20 meters, and flood waters began to rise in residential areas, prompting families of students of STVPS to take shelter in the school.
At 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon, Mr. Erickson Javier, CCF Director of Pasig Catholic College, delivered a sack of packed goods for 18 families who were housed in the school.  The goods were immediately distributed the families with proper documentation.
“I was personally touched by the gesture.  Despite our limited resources as we could offer nothing except shelter for comfort, still, there are generous people who shared food.  It’s the incarnation of building a helping family among Pasig Diocesan Schools System (PaDSS) member schools.”
Thank you very much Pasig Catholic College and Mr. Erickson Javier.  The entire school community and the parents of students could hardly thank you enough!
