The Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, formerly known as Our Lady of Victory, is the feast day of the Roman Catholic Church, celebrated on October 7, the anniversary of the decisive victory of the combined fleet of the Holy League of 1571 over the Ottoman navy at the Battle of Lepanto. Joining the universal celebration, the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School held the Living Rosary after the flag ceremony on October 7, 2019, in the quadrangle with designated spaces to be occupied by assigned students to represent the beads of the Rosary. These students were clad with their gala in their First Communion and their patron saints. Every mystery, students were assigned to offer their gifts to the Blessed Virgin Mary. These little gifts (school supplies) will be given to the pupils of the nearby public school and the recipients of the Feeding Program. Towards the end of the Rosary, school personnel offered flowers to the image of the young Mary in the Altar.

“Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you!”
