By Admin

The Pasig Diocesan Schools System held its 2018 General Assembly last May 28, 2018, an annual gathering of personnel of 11 schools.  Teaching and Student Services personnel of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School attended the assembly which started with the Holy Eucharist at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral with Rev. Fr. Orlindo F. Ordoña, PaDSS Superintendent, as the main celebrant and Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon, Vicar General, concelebrating.

Right after the Mass, Rev. Fr. Orlin gave the orientation on PaDSS Vision and Mission with special presentation on the 2018-2019 PaDSS theme and logo.  He furthered his discussion on the specific directions PaDSS wants to accomplish for the school year.  After the comprehensive discussion of the Superintendent, Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon presented the report on the Mabuting Pastol Pasig Credit Cooperative encouraging PaDSS personnel to enrol as members.  Furthermore, he also discussed the updates on the PaDSS in-house health benefits specifically on the increase of benefits and new inclusions in the guidelines.
At the end of the presentations, PaDSS Superintendent Council were called for a short meeting prior to the break-out sessions of different subject areas, senior high school department and student services.

Makiling Heights set the bar high upon STVPS and SNPS as both schools did the annual planning amidst the beautifully luscious greens of this Laguna venue.  The highly respected director Dr. Leo B. postheadericon Rest in the Hands of the Lord!

By Admin

January 12, 2018 may not be a lucky day for the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School as one of its priced personnel rested in the hands of the Lord after battling the big C.  Laura A. Aquino popularly known in the school as Ate Laura was employed at the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parochial School in March 2002 and earned her regular status in June 2003.  She was born on September 21, 1963 at Botigues, Bantayan, Cebu.  Prior to her employment to the school, she has worked as janitress by Rubystar Services, Inc. and as Canteen Helper in the school.  She was married to Mr. Belcesar L. Aquino on August 14, 2006.
During her stay in school, she manifested dedication to her work and was obedient to the request of school personnel.  Her only luxury was buying herself a pair of slippers/sandals which she used in her work.  Ate Laura will be remembered as a cheerful person who would readily let out a hearty laugh from a simple humor.
Rest in the hands of the Lord Ate Laura!  Pray for us to the Lord to guide all our endeavours always.  We love you!
