PAC Refurbishes Classroom Chairs and Coats Parents’ Lounge
By Admin

“No ordeal too difficult to handle with skilful hands and driven hearts!”
                            -Dr. Galve

The 2019-2020 Parents Advisory Council Offers joined forces to execute one of their noblest projects last August 26, 2019.  Facilitated by the PAC Coordinator, Mrs. Susana S. Nahag and the leadership of Mrs. Susan Tagle, PAC president, parents volunteer themselves to help refurbish the donated chairs from Dela Paz Elementary School and paint the railings, counters and benches of the Parents’ Lounge.

Sacrificing the time to be spent with their families on a holiday, these officers added on their shoulders the task of making this project a reality.  The initiative manifests more the works of the hands superseding insubstantial discourses.  Other PAC officers prepared food for them to feast – the time to establish deeper sense of unity and redirecting new perspectives for collaboration. The school administration is hoping that there will be more parent-volunteers to ride the bandwagon of service!

Kudos to PAC 2019-2020.

The Pasig Catholic College, through Dr. Erickson Javier, Vice President for Center for Christian Formation, invited Dr. Leo B. Galve to orient the administration of Pasig Catholic College and the Parish Pastoral Council of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish on implementing Operational Guidelines for Partnership last August 24, 2019 at the Pedro Calungsod Hall.  This is the second initiative where the School and the Parish are joined together in an orientation next to Sta. Rosa Catholic School and Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish.

PCC and ICC-PPC, in their desire to establish clear parameters of partnership, conjoined for the orientation on a rainy Saturday morning.  At the end of the presentation, the two proactive entities assigned point-persons to represent Finance, Facilities, and Operations of their respective domains to identify areas of partnership prior to the drafting of the Memorandum of Agreement.

Congratulations PCC and ICC, you truly are worthy of emulation!

postheadericon Team building for PAC Officers

By Admin

To improve team dynamics of the 2019 ~ 2020 PAC Officers, the administration of STVPS provided a night of team building activity last Aug. 20, 2019 at the Function Hall of the school.  Aware that these parents are also working, the team building activity was scheduled at 5:00 pm, in time for them to be out of work.

Dr. Leo B. Galve and Dr. Marcella D. Bejado facilitated the gathering with a simple, yet substantial, activities.  After each activity, parents’ officers were led to discuss the essentials of partnership with the school and how they would become effective collaborators in the academic life of students.

The team building ended with a simple dinner that brings them closer to one another all the more.

Thank you very much PAC officers for sharing your time, efforts and insights in making STVPS an ideal school for the young.
